Ivanhoe Australia to complete feasibility test on Merlin molybdenum-rhenium project

IVANHOE Australia has announced plans to complete the scoping study on its Merlin high grade molybdenum-rhenium project.

According to Ivanhoe Australia the full feasibility study on Merlin should begin in the last quarter of calendar 2009.

The company claims Merlin is the world’s highest grade molybdenum and rhenium deposit, with positive metallurgical test work to date.

The project is linked to the established Mount Dore copper deposit in northwest Queensland.
