ALKANE Resources has announced it has received impressive results from another five drill holes drilled at McPhillamys gold deposit in NSW.
The further significant gold intercepts included: 242 metres grading 0.83g/t gold from 92 metres; including 137 metres grading 1.29g/t gold from 104 metres, and 20 metres grading 5.52g/t gold from 169 metres, have confirmed the extensive gold mineralisation.
Another hole, intersected 106 metres grading 0.84g/t gold from 185 metres including 10 metres grading 3.26g/t gold from 236 metres.
The McPhillamys prospect is part of a joint venture with Newmont Australia, 35 kilomtres south east of Orange and covers 175 kilometres squared.
