ETHAN Minerals has revealed its results from its Northhampton project in Western Australia have shown high grade base mineralisation.

The results come after three initial reverse circulation drill holes out of 24 were completed at the Mary Springs prospect prior to Christmas.

According to Ethan Minerals, two drill holes indicate anomalous mineralisation along strike while one drill hole, 09MSRC0013, returned 8m @ 7.8% Pb including a 3m intercept at 17.37%Pb.

The company’s executive director, Ken Fitzgerald says the drill holes are encouraging for further exploration in the area.

“The results for the first three drill holes are very encouraging, given that drilling of the prospect commenced at the projected southern end of previously known mineralisation reported at the Mary Springs Prospect,” he says.

Ethan Mineral says it has also engaged a drilling contractor to complete a short diamond drilling program to target the main zone of mineralisation at Mary Springs.

“Once the diamond drilling program is completed and all assay results received, a mineral resource calculation will be undertaken and reported by late April or early May,” the company says.
