Gold explorer explores central west NSW

GOLD explorer Waratah Gold has started a reverse circulation and diamond drilling program at its Stuart Town gold project in New South Wales.

Located in central west NSW, the drilling program will comprise of 3 reverse circulation drill holes with diamond tails to a depth of approximately 350m each in the Specimen Hill, Manna Hill and Bells areas to test the conceptual Intrusion Related Gold Deposit (IRGD) model.

According to Waratah Gold, the area has historically been known to have produced approximately 170,000 oz of gold.

Waratah Gold believes the project is prospective for large scale intrusion related gold deposit.
